In a 2005 TV interview, Dr. 'Abd Al-Baset Sayyid of the Egyptian National Research Center said that Neil Armstong had proven that Mecca is the center of the world. Radiation emitted from the Ka'ba stone in Mecca creates a "zero-magnetism zone," according to Sayyid, who said that anyone travelling to Mecca or living there "is less affected by Earth's gravity." The interview aired on the Saudi AL-Majd TV channel in January 2005.
